Q. What is your reservation policy?
A. You can reserve 1 year in advance.

Reservations can be made by calling during office hours at (602) 975-0106 or emailing us. Your credit card information will be needed to make a reservation. We accept all major credit cards.  We do not accept cash.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. We do not have a cancellation policy.  You book, you pay. In case of an emergency or extreme situation, you may be able to cancel a reservation 72 hours in advance.  Our policy is to hold the accommodation throughout your stay once the reservation is confirmed.

Q. How do I go about booking rooms for my wedding?
A. For group reservations you must contact the motel by phone and speak to our group reservation specialist.

Q. Can I have my birthday party there?
A. While we want you to have a wonderful birthday, we DO NOT ALLOW PARTIES. We are simply too small of a place to have a party and we try very hard to keep the motel quiet and peaceful for the enjoyment of all of our guests.


Q. What do I need to check into my room?
A. You will need a valid ID, state issued or a passport, and your method of payment. The credit card holder must be present at check in with the card and valid ID. Arrangements can be made for someone else to pay for your room, but they must contact us in advance.

Q. What is check in time?
A. Check in time starts at 3pm. Our office is open from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, so we ask that you let us know if you will be checking in late.  We do not allow any check ins after midnight.

Q. What is check out time?
A. Our check out time is 11:00 am. If you wish to add another night to your stay, and you do not already have it reserved, please contact the front desk by 11AM to make sure that we can accommodate you. Late check outs are sometimes available with a charge.

Q. When are we required to pay?
A.  We require that you pay for your stay when you check in with us. You may pay either for all nights of your stay when you check in or pay for each day by noon.

Q. Can I pay in cash?
A. No, we do not accept cash.  We accept all major credit cards.

Q. How old do I need to be to rent a room at the Ajo La Siesta Motel?
A. Thanks for asking, you must be 21.

Q. Can I pay for my room online?
A. At this time we cannot accept payment online for rooms.


Q. Do you have a pool?
A. Yes, and it is known as the nicest pool in Ajo. This in-ground pool is beautifully secluded in an oasis like surrounding.

There are NO PARTIES allowed at the pool. NO GLASS CONTAINERS are ever allowed in the pool area.

Q. What are the pool hours?
A. The pool is seasonal and the hours vary (depending on availability). We ask that you read and respect the rules posted at the pool and we reserve the right to refuse use to anyone not respecting the rules.

Q. What services do you offer?
A. We are known for a friendly staff that can help you with directions and advice about things to do in Ajo and the surrounding area.  Parking is free and always very close to your room. We also offer wireless internet. Contact office for more details.

Q. Do your rooms have air conditioning and heat?
A. Absolutely.

Q. Do you offer breakfast?
A. We do not, however there are a few places locally that offer great inexpensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Q. Do we have to share a bathroom with any other guests?
A. Absolutely not, all of our rooms have their own separate showers and changing rooms.
